Nasir Shah FIA
FOUNDER & CEO
Nasir is a senior insurance executive and qualified actuary with more than 20 years' experience across risk management, capital, strategy, governance and regulation.
A former Regional CRO and Executive Committee member, he has held responsibility for multiple regulated insurance businesses and advised Boards and senior executives on risk and capital strategy, risk appetite, regulatory matters, governance and complex business decisions.
His experience spans the Lloyd's and wider international insurance market, including the UK, Bermuda, Europe, the US and Australia. He has led major risk and actuarial functions, designed and implemented enterprise-wide risk and Model Risk Management frameworks, supported regulatory approval programmes and advised on complex change and transactions, including Part VII transfers.
Nasir combines Board and executive-level perspective with deep technical expertise across capital, modelling, reserving and actuarial risk, enabling him to translate complex insurance issues into clear, commercially focused decisions.
Edward Whittaker FIA
FINANCE DIRECTOR | CAPITAL, VALIDATION & RISK
Ed is a qualified actuary specialising in capital modelling, model validation and quantitative risk, with extensive experience across the Lloyd's and UK insurance market.
He has led independent validation reviews covering methodology, assumptions, governance and model risk, and has supported internal model development, enhancement and regulatory-facing governance across Lloyd's, PRA and Bermuda regimes.
Ed combines hands-on modelling expertise with an ability to translate technical outputs into clear, commercially relevant decisions for Boards, senior management and regulators.
Martin Cairns FIA
HEAD OF ACTUARIAL
Martin is a qualified actuary with 25 years' experience across reserving, capital modelling, model governance, risk management and regulatory change.
He has held senior roles in both consultancy and industry, leading actuarial and modelling teams and advising Boards, regulators and senior executives on complex actuarial, risk and capital matters.
His experience spans Solvency II Internal Models, independent model assurance, reserving, claims quantification, expert work, capital management and model development. He combines technical depth with practical operational leadership and a strong track record of translating complex actuarial issues into clear business decisions.
Amelia Hill
CHIEF OF STAFF
Amelia is a senior change and transformation leader with more than 15 years' experience across the Lloyd's and London Market, including syndicates, MGAs, delegated authority and wider insurance businesses.
She specialises in turning strategy into execution, with experience spanning operating model design, governance, regulatory and entity change, business build, transformation and complex programme delivery.
Amelia has worked closely with CEOs, COOs and Executive teams on initiatives where successful delivery depends on aligning business, regulatory, operational and technology priorities.
